This year's EURETINA meeting boasts a crowd of 10,000 attendees, including delegates, industry leaders, and young retina specialists.

The European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA) welcomed over 10,000 international attendees to its 25th annual congress, held this year in Paris, France. EURETINA President Anat Loewenstein, MD, sat down with the Eye Care Network to share details of the meeting, held September 4 through 7 at Le Palais des Congrès.

The 2025 Congress is the largest one yet. Prof Loewenstein noted a 25% increase in abstract submissions. "The review process was very, very strict," she said. "Each paper had at least three reviewers. This really reflects the ongoing, amazing research that is going on in the field of retina. We increased the number of free papers this year, as much as the venue could accommodate. We really want to hear what people have to say."

Watch the full interview to learn more about this year's research findings that will be presented at the congress, including the data Prof Loewenstein will be sharing in clinical sessions.
