The Visions of Gullstrand ophthalmology congress, 31 May to 2 June 2013, is now open for registration.

The Visions of Gullstrand ophthalmology congress, 31 May to 2 June 2013, is now open for registration.

Part of the 600-year jubilee of the city of Landskrona, Sweden, the congress will celebrate the ophthalmologist Alvar Gullstrand, with the main focus on presbyopia. A high standard of speakers is expected, as the conference will join forces with the Presbymaniagroup.

Professor Emeritus Bernt Ehinger will give a memorial lecture on Alvar Gullstrand, Professor Bovet will speak about accommodation and Professor John Marshall, MBE, will discuss the future of presbyopia. Topics covered will include corneal inlays, accommodating MIOLs, PRK and femtosecond lasers.

There will also be a dinner prepared by the School of Gastronomy, as well as live evening entertainment.
