Spotlight on the retina specialists who make up the Eye Care Network advisory boards

The Eye Care Network is proud to foster strong relationships with clinicians. Our editorial advisory boards are comprised of leaders in the eye care industry with a wide variety of expertise. At the 2024 European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA) Congress, attendees will have the chance to learn from several members of the Ophthalmology Times, Modern Retina and Ophthalmology Times Europe advisory boards. Here, we have chosen to spotlight some of the programming that our esteemed board members will bring to the event.

Thursday, Prof Korobelnik will present research and appear in the Speakers’ Corner for a special debate session. On Sunday, Prof Korobelnik will speak on cataract surgery in diabetic retinopathy and co-chair the educational session with Oliver Zeitz.

Anat Loewenstein, MD

Modern Retina Editorial Advisory Board

Since Prof Loewenstein is the current EURETINA President, she will be a familiar face during educational and social events. During the EURETINA opening ceremonies on 19 September, which begin at 16:00 CEST, Prof Loewenstein will lead a tribute to Professor Ramin Tadayoni and announce the Professor Ramin Tadayoni Award. She will also introduce Professor Kyoko Ohno-Matsui, who will deliver the keynote lecture “Pathologic Myopia: New Horizons through Cutting-Edge Imaging Technologies.” On Saturday, 21 September, at 9:00 CEST, she will welcome Baroness Susan Greenfield to present her diversity keynote, “The Neuroscience of Individuality.”
