Optos has launched a new version of its proprietary retinal imaging software, V2 Vantage.

The unit's ResMax is a new capability that increases the image resolution of the macula and optic nerve while 3D Wrap allows the practitioner to create a three-dimensional representation of the human eye on to which the retinal exam is projected. This graphical capability allows complete visualization of the shape and location of disease, making it easier for patients to understand.
