This year's General Assembly will focus on "Eye Health: Everyone's Business" and will be held in the HICC, Hyderabad, India, between 17-20 September. The event will provide the opportunity for ophthalmologists, optometrists, hospitals, public health policy-makers and industry experts to discuss the topics of blindness prevention and visual impairment.

The IAPB General Assembly will play host to over 150 guest speakers, 30 courses and lectures, rapid-fire rounds, 200 posters and 45 oral presentations. The best poster and oral presentation will each receive a prize.

Professor Hugh R. Taylor, the 9GA Programme Committee Chair, said, "The assembly is a must for anyone interested in better service delivery. Whether in a single clinic, as part of a district health programme or to a whole country."
