Ophthalmology Times Europe editor, Pamela Brook, said: Joe's film is a patient’s story and a real insight into what the ophthalmology community can do to help. I would highly recommend it. Joe was diagnosed with blindness around 22 years ago and since then has been progressively losing his vision. Six years ago he decided to make a film to document the impact that blindness had on people’s lives and to relay his own experience in living with the condition. His film really does provide surgeons with a tool for their own patient education initiatives.
