The Crystalens iClear iPhone app features a "doc finder", offers a "Picture Hunt" game and provides information on other Bausch + Lomb Crystalens products.

The company claim the app, available in iPhone App Stores, will educate patients and surgeons alike on the significance of vision correction procedures.

The firm has also announced that it will offer Crystalens patients, who have received the implant in the US before 31 March 2011, a $250 rebate.
