Optical ray tracing-guided myopic LASIK

Article

In this article, Dr Cummings describes his patients involved in the RT-guided LASIK trial, revealing the safety, efficacy and predictability of the procedure to treat moderate to high myopia.

WFO, or aberration free profiles, induce less higher order errors per dioptre of treatment than the earlier standard profiles. WFO profiles do not, however, reduce higher-order errors and hence wavefront-guided procedures were created (2001).
