Microcoaxial phaco components can affect clinical outcomes

Significant increase in incision size after IOL implantation occurred with 1.8-mm incision

Phacoemulsification systems are not all equal. They come with different components that can affect the outcomes.

Parameters of interest included anterior chamber stability, amount of fluid used, incision sizes before and after implantation of the IOLs, wound architecture and corneal oedema.
