An international course on ophthalmic and oculoplastic reconstruction and trauma surgery will be taking place in Vienna from April 15-17 at the Vienna General Hospital/Neurosurgical Laboratory.

An international course on ophthalmic and oculoplastic reconstruction and trauma surgery will be taking place in Vienna from April 15-17 at the Vienna General Hospital/Neurosurgical Laboratory.

The 3-day course will comprise compact lectures covering theoretical basics for the following extensive hands-on wet labs in suturing techniques, lid reconstruction, lacrimal reconstruction, corneal laceration and perforations, scleral rupture and keratoplasty a chaud. Each participant will have a minimum of 4.5 hours for extensive hands-on surgery on the human specimen.

Aimed at hospital-based ophthalmic surgeons and ophthalmologic private practitioners to improve their theoretical and practical competence the course is 2,640 EURO (inclusive of 20% VAT) and closing dates for applications is 15th March. Register at www.ophthalmictrainings.com
