Generic versions of dorzolamide-timolol (Cosopt) and dorzolamide hydrochloride (Trusopt; Merck) are now available from Prasco.

Generic versions of Merck's dorzolamide-timolol (Cosopt) and dorzolamide hydrochloride (Trusopt; Merck) are now being marketed in the US by Prasco Laboratories, under licence from Merck.

Prasco has released a statement detailing the therapeutic equivalence of its generic versions to Merck's branded drugs. As with the branded versions, the generic formulations are contained within the Ocumeter Plus dispensing container.
