ESCRS Highlights: A topographer that offers more than standard

Article

OTEurope reports on some of the highlights from the XXVIII Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

In addition the Keratograph 4, a placido based topographer, with integrated keratometer and pupillometer was displayed with its latest software improvements. The TF-Scan, a non-invasive measurement of the tear film break-up time was a magnet, too. The NIBUT is measured, displayed and quantified automatically. The tool is a real step forward in tear film analysis. The tear film is assessed quantitatively and qualitatively. The examination is absolutely non-contact, quick, comfortable and hygienic. The results are well presented e.g. as a colour map to patients. Oculus says that with precise measurements - comprehensive presentation – a picture can say more than 1000 words.
